“Bad is good when we learn to generate ideas and creative problem solving together with others." – Unto Miettinen (1942-2002)

The late creativity researcher, Dr Miettinen could not make his dream come true, but we can continue after him.

Carrying out ideas is not possible on one’s own, as there are several stages in the process: generating, developing, screening, and selling, which all require different skills. Few persons, if anyone, have all these skills. According to Roger von Oech, creativity researcher, we need a four-member team consisting of an explorer, an artist, a judge, and a fighter. Therefore, many kinds of members are welcome to join the Idea Club.

The Idea Club aims at creating partnerships and networks of persons including many kinds of members of creativity teams. It will be interesting to see what we can do together and what kind of interaction there will be.

In such difficult times as today, there is a special need for an Idea Club and idea generating campaigns. There is also more to be won than in so called good times. A depression cannot make us depressed if we do not agree to get depressed.
